RACECREWAI / HELP & ANSWERS

Clear answers.
More time on track.

What you need to get started, understand your AI crew, and make an informed choice about RaceCrewAI.

01

Getting started

Your first session, without the guesswork.

What does RaceCrewAI help me do?

RaceCrewAI brings AI conversations, guided setup preparation, telemetry, and your Driver Profile into one desktop app. Prepare for a session, ask questions as you train, then review your driving with more context.

It supports your decisions; it does not drive the car or guarantee faster lap times. Explore the training flow →

Which simulators are supported today?

iRacing is currently the only supported simulator. Other simulator logos represent planned integrations, not features available today.

What do I need to use the app?

You need a Windows PC, an internet connection for online services, and an active RaceCrewAI account. Simulator-connected features also require an iRacing account and the relevant car and track content.

If you are unsure whether your system is suitable, contact us before purchasing. Read the getting-started guide →

How do I install the app and sign in?

Follow the installation guide for the official download. In the desktop app, request an access code using your RaceCrewAI email address, then enter the code sent to your email. Connecting your iRacing account is a separate authorization step.

The website account and desktop app use separate sign-in flows. Never send your password or access code to support.

I registered but cannot access the app. What should I do?

Check the email address you entered, look in your inbox and spam folder, and follow any activation instructions you received.

If you still cannot access the app, open a support request or contact us. Include the error message and when it happened. Never send your password or access code.

02

AI crew & your data

Understand the tools — and their limits.

Who are Boss, Max, Maia, and Rocha?

They are AI crew members with different areas of focus: Boss helps with the bigger picture, Max with setups, Maia with coaching, and Rocha with data analysis. They are AI characters, not human operators.

Give your crew a clear question and relevant session context. See how conversations work →

How does Max help with setups?

Max offers guidance based on the car, track, session choices, and feedback you provide. You choose and test changes in the simulator; no setup is guaranteed to be perfect.

Start from a baseline and change one thing at a time so you can judge the result. Get started with Setups →

Why is the setup screen waiting for my session?

The guided setup flow needs the relevant iRacing session context. Start a private iRacing session, check the simulator connection, then select your run type and baseline in the app.

If you're still stuck on this screen, include your car, track, app version, and a screenshot with personal information removed in a support request.

Why is my Driver Profile or telemetry incomplete?

Available insights depend on the driving data the app has received and can use. A missing value is not a zero score, and one session may not provide enough information for every category.

Use the available data to guide your practice. Incomplete results don't tell the whole story of your driving. Learn how to review your progress →

Can I rely on every AI answer?

AI answers can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your current session. Check the car, track, and conditions before acting, and test setup advice safely in practice.

RaceCrewAI provides guidance, not a guaranteed result or a substitute for your judgment. Read the Disclaimer →

03

Friends & Teams

Stay connected, with clear expectations.

What is the difference between Friends and Teams?

The Friends feature lets you connect with other drivers using invitation codes and manage those connections. The Teams feature provides a shared space for members, roles, and in-app notifications, with management controls based on your permissions.

Use Friends for your racing circle and Teams to organize a group. Explore Friends and Teams →

Can friends already share setups and telemetry?

The direct setup and telemetry sharing controls in Friends are marked Coming soon. Squads and Resources in Teams are also unavailable.

Telemetry's lap-code workflow is separate; adding a friend does not automatically enable sharing or comparison features.

What access is included when I join a team?

Creating or joining a team organizes members in the app. Team roles determine who can manage the group; they do not unlock a different set of membership features. Contact us if you need help with team access.

Joining a team does not by itself confirm that one paid membership covers multiple people.

04

Memberships & your rights

Know what you are choosing before you commit.

What is included in the free trial?

The free trial gives you access to the same features as a paid membership, with all available features unlocked. See the Freemium membership details for the trial duration and current terms.

If your access or trial dates are unclear, contact us before starting a paid membership.

Do all memberships include the same features?

Yes. All memberships include the same features, with all available features unlocked. You do not need a higher-priced membership to access more features.

Before purchasing, check the total price, any applicable taxes, billing frequency, activation timing, renewal terms, and cancellation conditions.

Keep your order confirmation, and contact us if anything is unclear. View membership pricing →

How are payments processed?

Our Terms and Conditions describe payments through third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. The payment options available for your purchase are shown at checkout.

For a question about a charge, contact us with your order details. Do not send card numbers, security codes, passwords, or access codes.

How can I manage or cancel my paid membership?

Our Terms say that subscriptions are managed through the payment platform used for the purchase. Check the subscription-management instructions provided with your purchase. If you cannot find them, contact us for help identifying the correct route.

Keep confirmation that renewal has been canceled. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account is not confirmation that billing has stopped.

If you cancel a paid membership and later rejoin, the price in effect when you rejoin will apply. Your previous membership price will not carry over.

Can I request a refund or cancel a purchase?

Under our Terms and Conditions, all payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Review the membership details and terms before purchasing.

Any right to cancel a purchase or receive a refund depends on the rules that apply to your purchase. Contact us with your order details if you have a question or wish to make a request. Canceling a future renewal and requesting a refund for an existing payment are separate actions.

What if the service is not provided or does not work as agreed?

Contact us with your order details and a description of the problem. Depending on the law that applies to your purchase, you may be entitled to a remedy if the service is not provided or does not meet the agreed terms.

Any mandatory rights are separate from a voluntary refund policy.

What about an older lifetime or Early Access offer?

If you purchased an earlier lifetime or Early Access offer, refer to the terms and confirmation provided with that purchase. The price and duration of an earlier offer are governed by its original terms. All memberships include the same available features.

This FAQ does not replace the terms of an earlier purchase. Contact us if you need help confirming what your offer includes.

Can I access, correct, or request deletion of my data?

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to restrict or object to certain uses.

Contact us to make a request. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. See the Privacy Policy for more details, including complaint options.

How can I make a complaint?

Contact us with the issue, relevant dates, and the outcome you are seeking. Keep a copy of your correspondence.

Contacting support does not replace any complaint or dispute-resolution rights available under applicable law.

Where can I read the full conditions?

Read the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer alongside your membership details and order confirmation.

This FAQ is an explanation, not a waiver of your rights. If information is missing or inconsistent, ask us for clarification before purchasing.

Current capabilities and future plans are different. Your contract and mandatory consumer rights still apply. Read the full terms.
